You were most likely living under a rock of you have not yet heard Electro House! Electro house is one of the most popular genres that fall under the category of house.
In less than ten years it is the only dance style music that reached the same popularity as of 1970’s old school (at this point) disco. Your grandmother getting down on the floor and grooving to disco won’t be forgotten. It is now permanet history forever.
Actually, that was that time and in the present we are making history with every moment. The genre of music is big in TV shows as well as as well as those awsome commercials. Many modern radio stations now have specific chanells just for electro house.
It is very common for DJ to create “bootleg” versions of latest hits and remix them in electro house style. They later play these at partys and clubs that they might be playing at.
Many people want to to find out where did this style of music emerge from. There isn’t any evidence to prove anything. Most of the time, it is nearly impossible to find out who is directly responsible the making of music history.
Fortunately, there is one clear mark in history. It was in the early 2000s when a big movement of electroclash being mixed with synth pop. When the two were mixed that is when Electro House came to be the way it is now. Though this combination doesn’t seem exactly possible or revolutionary, it sure brought much attention upon it self.
Even though there probably had been many other artist experimenting with this genre, the first artist that hit mainstream with Electro House had to be Benny Benassi. He directly incorporated both electroclash and tech house together very successfully. “Satisfaction” was one of those songs that people would have stuck in their head for days. This song still continues to receive a lot of attention to date. It won world wide rewards as well as make Benny Benassi the father of Electro House. Soon after this hit many more artist with this style emerged as well.
